Information You Send Directly
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the result. Pasadena Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those searches on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the contents of that message and use them to respond.
Routine Technical Information
Hosting systems record ordinary server details, such as an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We review those details in aggregate to maintain the service and understand which Pasadena records pages are useful. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How We Use Information
Technical and contact information helps operate the reference, diagnose faults, measure traffic, and improve its pages. Visitor lists are not sold, and individual user profiles are not built here.
External Portals and Links
Pages may point to city, county, and state records offices, Pasadena library collections, archives, or third-party search tools. Once you leave this reference, the outside provider's privacy policy controls what you submit there. Sponsored search results are supplied by a separate company and follow that company's practices.
Who May Process It
Hosting and technical service providers may process server logs while supporting the reference. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Disclosure occurs when valid legal process requires it, and otherwise is limited to operating the service.
Security and Retention
The connection is encrypted, and logs are retained only for as long as the purposes described above require. Because there are no user accounts, this reference does not hold a site password or personal account profile that could be exposed.
Children and Teen Users
Pasadena Residents Directory is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information, contact us so it can be removed.
California Privacy Choices
Depending on the law that applies, you may ask a website to provide, correct, or delete personal information it keeps about you. The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), Civil Code § 1798.100 et seq., may also provide rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain sensitive-information uses, and avoid discrimination, subject to exceptions and applicability.
Because this reference retains very little, a request generally means checking the contact mailbox and available server logs, then removing information found there. Use the Contact page to ask. The California Public Records Act, Government Code §§ 7920.000–7931.000, concerns access to records held by public agencies, not deletion from this private reference. Requests about Pasadena, Los Angeles County, or California records must go to the custodian.
California's DROP program launched in 2026, and registered data brokers began deletion duties on August 1, 2026. It is aimed at qualifying businesses and brokers, so public custodians are not covered in the same way. Separately, Safe at Home, under Government Code §§ 6205–6216, protects a substitute mailing address and confidential voting for eligible people facing safety risks; its governing-law materials explain the statutory route. The program does not erase older public records.
